Welcome. You're in the Right Place.

Beginning recovery from Complex Trauma can feel overwhelming. You may have spent years wondering why certain patterns keep repeating, why relationships feel difficult, or why your emotions can seem so intense and unpredictable. You are not expected to have all the answers today.

This programme was created to help you make sense of your experiences, understand what has happened to you, and begin building the knowledge and skills that support meaningful, lasting recovery.

Every session is one step forward.

A Foundation for Healing

The first 25 sessions are designed to give you a strong foundation

for your recovery journey.*

Rather than asking you to dive straight into painful memories or difficult experiences, these sessions focus on helping you understand how Complex Trauma works and what you can do to support yourself along the way.As you progress, you'll gain three powerful things:

Find the Words

Many people living with Complex Trauma struggle to explain what they're experiencing—even to themselves.

You'll learn the vocabulary that helps put words to your experiences, making confusing patterns easier to understand and easier to talk about. When we can name what we're experiencing, it often becomes less overwhelming.

Build Practical Skills

Understanding is important, but recovery also requires practical support. Throughout the programme, you'll learn simple, effective tools that can help you recognise triggers, regulate difficult emotions, and respond to yourself with greater awareness and compassion.

These aren't just ideas—they're skills you can begin using in everyday life.

Rediscover Your Strength

One of the goals of recovery is not simply to understand your past, but to reclaim your ability to shape your future.

As your knowledge and confidence grow, you'll become more equipped to explore deeper aspects of healing with greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust. Recovery isn't about becoming someone different.

It's about reconnecting with the person you've always had the capacity to be.

Go at the Pace Your Nervous System Needs

Healing isn't a race. There is no prize for getting through the material as quickly as possible. Some sessions may feel validating. Others may bring up difficult emotions or memories. That is completely normal.

Give yourself permission to pause, reflect, revisit sessions, or take breaks whenever you need them.

Approach this journey with patience, curiosity, and compassion. Small, consistent steps often create the deepest and most lasting change.

Knowledge and Skills for a Healthier Future. Your Journey Begins Today

You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin.

You only need to take the next step. With every session, you'll build greater understanding, develop practical skills, create a stronger relationship with yourself and others

This isn't about perfection.

It's about progress, one step at a time.

Welcome to your journey.--

Helpful Resources for Your Healing Journey

As you move through this course, a few simple resources can help you feel more supported and connected to your healing process.

A Journal
Journalling offers a safe space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and reflections as you move through each module.

An Emotions Wheel
Having an emotions wheel nearby can help you identify and name feelings that may have been difficult to recognise. This is an important part of building emotional awareness and self-understanding.

A Childhood Photo or Keepsake
A meaningful photo or small keepsake can gently support you in reconnecting with younger parts of yourself as you explore your healing journey.

The 12 Basic Needs Worksheets
When you reach this module, I encourage you to print the worksheets or copy them into your journal. They will become valuable tools throughout the course.

Creative Supplies
Healing isn't always expressed through words. Pens, coloured pencils, paints, or anything that inspires creativity can offer another way to process your experiences and express yourself.

There is no right or wrong way to move through this course. Take your time, use what feels supportive, and trust that each small step is part of your journey.

POWERFUL + PRACTICAL COMPLEX TRAUMA RECOVERY TOOLS

One key thing you're going to notice as you go through this course is that it is offered in very simple, easy-to-understand language. This is not because the material is simple. Instead, as Tim Fletcher says, he helps take the books from the "top shelf and moves them down to the bottom shelves, making them more understandable and usable to average, every-day people."

Understanding your experiences can help you make sense of your emotions, develop healthier relationships, and begin creating positive change.

Learning Support.

This coaching programme is intended to support personal growth and learning. It is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, medical care, or crisis support. If, at any point, you feel overwhelmed, distressed, or concerned about your safety or wellbeing, please reach out to a trusted support person, a qualified healthcare or mental health professional, or your local emergency or crisis services.
